On Wednesday, beginning at 5:30 PM, a variety of programs and ministry opportunities are offered for all age groups:  (1) Family Night Meal; (2) GA’s and RA’s; (3) “G.R.O.W.;” (4) Adult Prayer Meeting and Bible Study; (5) Youth; (6) International Bible study; and (7) Sanctuary Choir Rehearsal.  FBC Home Groups meet each fourth Sunday night.  In addition, the pastor teaches a four-session “Gospel Exploration” series each month.

FBC HOME GROUPS

FBC Home Groups typically meet on the fourth Sunday evening of each month.  During the time Home Groups meet, the church provides nursery.  Appropriate literature of high quality is used to facilitate effective Bible study in the Home Groups.

NURSERY / CHILDREN’s CHURCH

Free childcare is offered for crib babies through four-year-olds for practically every activity we sponsor.  Children’s Church is offered at 11:00 AM on Sundays for Kindergarten - fourth-graders.

MOPS

First Baptist Church sponsors a chapter of “Mothers of Pre-schoolers” (MOPS).  This ministry meets on first and third Wednesday mornings each month, beginning at 9:30 AM.  Nursery is provided.  The purpose of MOPS is to nurture every mother of preschoolers by meeting her distinct needs to the glory of Jesus Christ.

Each summer we field a church-league softball team.  Through the year an informal group of our members (including the pastor) plays basketball.

The church offers the resources of a library that includes a wide variety of books, audio cassettes, and videos for all ages.  Parents are encouraged to check out story books for their children.
